LEAVE IT BLANK
When you go to the poll on Nov 4th to cast your votes, leave the Governor selection blank. The Electronic voting machines will flash red and warn you that you did not make a selection, thats OK, it will allow you to continue to the next office to vote on. At the end when you do your final “Approval” it will again warn you that the Governor selection is blank, but it will allow you to continue.
Watch very carefully to make sure the machine doesn’t make a selection for you. If it does, STOP IMMEDIATELY and call one of the poll workers.
WRITE IN A NAME
Tell the Poll worker that you want to write in a name. Important, and you must understand this – There are no official “Write-In” candidate selections available, so your write in vote will not be looked at, nor will it be counted. There will be no tabulation or record of any write in names, so do not anticipate that if every Ohio Voter wrote in the name “EARL” that he would win. He will not.
VOTE FOR THE OTHER GUY
OK, this is the most difficult one for many conservatives. But here is some logic behind this selection:
1) After you do this, you can go home, make a nice stiff drink, then jump in the shower to wash the slime off of you. If you are a Roman Catholic, you may also want to consider visiting the confessional and ask for forgiveness.
2) Consider this. If for the past four years Ohio had the current Republican Legislature but a Democrat Governor, do you really think that Republican legislature would have stood by and allowed the Democrat Governor to implement Obamacare Medicaid Expansion, or Common Core? Not on your life.
Many conservatives are frustrated and disillusioned with their party and have decided to stay home and ride this one out.
The Republican Governor candidate doesn’t really care about conservatives staying home, as he doesn’t need their vote to win this election. The Democrat party have put up such weak candidate, the Republican candidate is pretty much a shoe in.
Here is the problem.
There are many high quality conservative candidates running for other offices that could lose their election if the conservative voter stays home because of their disillusion with the Governors race.
By advising these disillusioned conservative voters of their other choices in the Governors race, its our goal to get them off the couch and to the polls in November to support those other candidates.
